Met up with a client for a long over due photo session. We left our house at 5:00pm for a dusk shoot. Drove for a little over an hour and there it was, right in front of us...road closed - road construction. To be honest with, there wasn't really much of a road. The initial idea was to shoot from above, looking down with a fabulous background, but that was not in the cards for this evening. So, on to plan "B". How did we do?

Derrick Ward Memorial Car and Motorcycle Show Part II
I've been selecting and processing files from the Derrick Ward Memorial Car and Motorcycle Show. I didn't get much of a chance to get away from my booth to go look at the cars and bikes that were there, and there were quite a few. A great turnout for a great cause! Here are a few of the photos that really brought meaning to this event.
All of the motorcycle riders rode in stopped in front of the Grandstand (my booth too). There was a moment of silence for Derrick and for others of the community who lost there battle with Pancreatic Cancer. It was very touching. Then they started there bikes back up. It was CRAZY loud. Very cool though!

Derrick Ward Memorial Car and Motorcycle Show
Yesterday I participated in the Derrick Ward Memorial Car and Motorcycle Show at the Brisbane Marina. Diane K. Costello Photography was a sponsor for the show. The proceeds of this show went to help cure Pancreatic Cancer. I had a wonderful time. Ran into some familiar people and met some new ones. Lots and lots of new cars and motorcycles. One of my favorite cars was an Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite.
Now isn't this the cutest smile you have ever seen?

The other day I had a session with a young lady who is nothing but girl. She looks like a girl, she walks like a girl, she acts like a girl...all girl!
I told you she was cute! Thank you Nancy D. for sharing your lovely little girl with me!

Senior's Night Out
Thursday Evening was the 22nd Annual Senior's Night Out. I volunteered my time and services to help add to the festivities. Here are a few of of the portraits from the evening. Everyone had a wonderful time. I had a bunch of comments about how this made them feel as if they were at the prom. How cool!
