Week 5 / 52

Another wonderful day in the sun. Another not quite as planned photo session with Gromit, but the sky is blue, the tide is low. What more could one ask for.

A New Year...

2011 is upon us and there is just so much to do! How about you? Busy as usual around here. Gromit and I go out at least 2 times a day. The morning outing is usually the longest...and hour or two. Lots of exercise, lots of new friends, lots of adventures. We have been to Fort Funston twice now. Found a really big loop up at Quarry Park that originally started as a 2 hour loop and now we have it down to 1.25 hours. The past couple of weeks it has been like summer here. Not our summer, but a summer we all wish sould stay. Sunny, warm, beautiful blue skies, and pollen...lots and lots of pollen! Oh, and really great days at the beach!

I started working in a new project the beginning of the year. I had been getting ready for this the later part of last year and was really looking forward to a new, less intense project. 52 Weeks of dogs. You cant's just pick any ol' dog, it has to be one. One to challenge you both artistically and mentally. Gromit was my man again. Here are the past four weeks of this challange. I will try to update Grommies blog a bit more often!

Boxer Mania

Today we went up to Crissy Field in San Francisco's Presidio. It was cold, but that didn't seem to bother the Boxers, and there were a lot of boxers.



But, ohhhhh did they have fun!

January 2011

Lots of things going on, as usual. I signed up to be a part of an online group "52 weeks of dogs". This year it will be a photo a week for 52 weeks, again all of Gromit, which is going to be a challenge. I will have a week (roughly) to plan out the next image and there will be challenges. I think this will be quite fun.

Gromit's book is in transit to our house as I write this. How exciting! 370 color pages of Gromit in action. Super excited, can't wait for it to arrive. On another note, while uploading to my blog, I was also uploading to a collaborative blog, "4 Women, 365 Days". This book has also been published each of us selecting our favorite top 20 images of the year. Again, it was published through blurb.com.

Now for the fun part. Halfmoonbay.patch.com has interviewed the three of us that live here in Half Moon Bay and is doing a 3 part article on us. Mine was released today. I couldn't believe it! Check it out!
