Day 238
Another day in paradise.....
I really feel as though I should apologize for taking these pictures early and posting them during my days away. Everyone needs some time off - right?
On that note, here is the picture I chose for today.

Day 237
I must admit that I do miss my little mush face very much...and it has only been one day. What am I going to do? I will keep looking at all of his little pictures and laughing and remembering the day that I took it and what kind of mischief he had gotten into or was he being a good boxer or not. That is what I will have to do. The question is what is he doing? Having a blast. Playing with his buddies. He has a new bff named Finnegan. I have not met him yet, but I am sure at some point I will. I brought along a number of photos for the duration. Although I know it is suppose to be a photo a day of Gromit, it is very difficult to do when you are not with him.....

Day 235
Looks like Gromit thought that eating a blue scrapbooking pen would be kinda fun. Blue was everywhere. Blue paw prints all over the hardwood floors, blue on his bed, on the chair cover, blue all over him...

Day 234
This morning we brought Gromit to the harbor - early...we were there at 7:00 am. We had to leave at 7:30, so 30 minutes was all he was going to get. He ran and chased the ball and ran and chased the ball some more, rarely did he bring the ball back, but he love to run and chase the ball. He also likes to run and chase the ball into the water...

Day 229
Busy seems to be the key word this past month. Today we, (Gromit and I) ran up to the office to get a few things done before we went for a nice romp with Auntie and her motley crew. Great fun was had by all for sure! After I spent hours (off and on) between working in my office editing photos and sitting out in the sun...that's right folks, the sun came out and it was actually warm (if you were sitting out of the wind), it was time for a field romp with the omelet...

Day 226
An incredibly busy day today. Tim and I were up at 5 am, out of the house at 6 am and on our way over to San Mateo for the 15th annual Car Crazy Promotions car show. Gromit was picked up by his dog mother (Auntie A) at about 10 am. He spent the day with with her and her side-kick Shelby Roo. He must have had fun because he was exhausted when we finally made it home around 10 PM. Great car show...lots of business...lots of contacts! Here is an image of Gromit the day before. Yes, sometimes we just have to "cheat" a little!

Day 225
Today was Gromit's day! His Mom and sister Sammie came out from Sacramento to visit with him. We went to the harbor and they had a blast!

Day 224
I have been so busy getting ready for the car show this weekend. Gromit knows something is going on, so he is under my feet all the time. We are not going anywhere, except to the car show...so, I made him sit still for a minute.

Day 221
It has probably been 30 days since we have really seen the sun here, gray, drizzly, cold. As cold as our usual winters. The beaches are packed, although everyone is bundled up. It makes for an amusing image in my head. Today, Gromit and I are taking the Gromit transporter to the shop for some new brakes. From there we are going to walk home. It is about a mile. Then maybe the harbor, maybe the field, maybe a nap...we will have to see. OK, it was the field...
Day 220
Tim and I took Gromit to the harbor early this morning. We were the first ones there from the normal group of weekenders. We had to get him out and going, Tim had softball and I had a family portrait session. The weather was iffy at best, and when we arrived at the harbor it was more like rain than drizzle, so the camera stayed inside the car. Not too much time went by before some of Gromit's buddies showed up....yay! After about an hour, it was home to get our busy day rolling. The sun peeked out for about 30 minutes right after I arrived home from my portrait session. Tim arrived home not too long after that, so he and I took Grom out for a field romp.

Day 219
We went for a romp on the beach early this morning, but it was practically raining, so the camera stayed home. This afternoon, we napped...

Day 218
Another gray drizzly day. It is just too damp for me to take my camera with me when we go for our morning romp.

Day 217
Another.......gray day. It stayed dry enough for Cool Harbor Nights to have their monthly car show. Here is Gromit hangin' with his buddies. Notice the little yellow car in the back ground, that one is ours.

Day 214
I have lost count on the number of gray, overcast drizzly days we have had this summer so far. It just doesn't seem to affect Gromit though! He takes a nap when ever he wants too! He's getting sleepy, very sleepy, you can see it in his eyes.

Day 213
August 1 already. It amazes me just how fast time has been flying by. Tim and I were just not early today. He had to run to the grocery store to get everything that he needed for his crockpot bbq spare ribs. I had coffee with a good friend. After we were both back and done...we decided to take Gromit to the harbor. First we drove to the Maverick's parking lot. That was packed...so we turned around and went to the pier. Not a whole lot of people on the beach which was nice. We let Gromit of leash, and a way he went. He ran straight for another dog just up the beach. She was a stout little pitty girl. Sweetest thing on 4 paws, but she weighed the same as Gromit, although whe was a smidge shorter. They had a great time running and playing and chasing and running. Here is a lucky shot of Gromit....
