Playing with light...although Gromit really wanted nothing to do with it, purely because the camera was pointed at him. He did sit still, and I like the light on the back of his ear. We are waiting for Tim to get back home so we can go for another field run before it starts raining again. There was a tsunami watch here, the tides are a little high and the beaches are closed. He was called into work for a bit.

Day 57

In between the pouring rain, trying to wear out a boxer under the age of 2 is not easy. I am exhausted, and yet Gromit can power nap and be ready to go in 20 minutes. Finally a quick break for me, maybe a power nap?

Day 56

Gromit and I had a very busy morning, we went for a power walk with a couple of dog buddies, down to the harbor and back. We figured roughly 7500 steps using an iPhone app. Anyway, the sun was peeking through the clouds, beautiful light, beautiful clouds. That is where today's picture was taken, although Gromit really wanted no part of the picture taking process.

We went home for a little breakfast, then went for another walk in the Montara hills with some more dog buddies. Back home for a nap and then lunch.

Day 55

55 days have past, 310 to go...meanwhile, it is raining outside, Gromits least favorite thing, so he decided to play with his ball in my office. Some of you have seen my office, and know that there really isn't much room to throw around a ball. So every few minutes I have to get up and pull his ball out from behind something...

Day 54

I just love the tilted head look. I was finishing up in my office, stood up and there he was, surrounded by his toys and remnants of toys and stuffing from toys. What a mess, so I said to "Grom, who made this mess?" This was his response...

Day 53

I was playing around with lighting and really wanted Grom to sit on the chair but couldn't get him to stay. For the most part he kept by my side, which was not helpful when I was on the opposite end of the table. He happened to wonder over to the other side of the table for two shots. Here is my favorite!

It's been a while since we had been to the beach. Not much beach as the tide was rather high, but still enough to find a stick and throw it in the sand just to dig it up again!

Well, the fog has rolled in and it has cooled down quite a bit. Rather damp and the grasses are cover in drizzle, so is Gromit's face.

A beautiful day on the coast, Maverick's Surf contest was taking place and from our field view, traffic on Highway One was pretty much at a standstill, so for a nice walk we went. Gromit looked so good sitting in the green grass and bright yellow flowers!

After dealing with computer problems yesterday, Grom and I finally are able to post yesterdays photo. I just love his soft leathery lips, and whiskers that go everywhere!

We started the day off rather slowly, didn't actually get out for our walk until after 11:00. We walked down to Tim's work and then along the coastal trail. Again, NO DOGS ALLOWED on the beach, so we walked along the bluff tops and coastal trail until my foot cramped up and then it was time to head home. It was a pretty long walk, and Gromit is now sound asleep!

Day 38

Gromit and I went for a field romp this morning. The sun is out and running around was his top priority, he wanted nothing to do with me taking his photo, so I had to bribe him.

We went for a walk along the Coastal Trail. It was pretty windy, and the area that we were in, there were NO DOGS ALLOWED on the beach. Leash walk...on the bluff tops.
